Protecting Our Green Belt - Black Country Plan 2021

I have been very clear that I strongly object to developments on Green Belt land. We currently have a lack of capacity on our local roads, and a lack of places in our schools and doctors surgeries. The Black Country Plan has now been released and there are several sites in Dudley North that are being considered for Development.

- Land near Viewfield Crescent in Sedgley - New Proposal

- The Old Sewage Works in Gornal, Lower Guys Lane in Lower Gornal - New Proposal

- The Straits (Dudley Borough Boundary) 23 homes in Lower Gornal - This is a historic proposal

- Ruiton Street in Lower Gornal - This is a historic proposal

- Summit Place in Gornal Wood - This is a historic proposal

I want to ensure you voice is heard by the Planning team in Dudley MBC. Please complete the following form but it is vital you respond to the consultation separately as well.

The Black Country Plan: Green Belt Development

Following the publication today of the Black Country Plan which is now open for consultation, the MP for Dudley North, Marco Longhi, has reacted with anger to the news that sites in his constituency have been targeted for release from the Green Belt (See below).
